🥗 Macaroni Salad with Peas & Carrots
Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni (dry)
- 1 cup peas (frozen or canned)
- 1 cup carrots, finely diced or shredded
- ¾ cup mayonnaise
- 1–2 tbsp vinegar (white or apple cider)
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional, for a slightly sweet taste)
- ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Optional add‑ins:
- ¼ cup chopped onion or scallions
- 1–2 tbsp sweet relish
- 1 tbsp mustard
- A pinch of paprika
