Macaroni Salad

 

🥗 Macaroni Salad with Peas & Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (dry)
  • 1 cup peas (frozen or canned)
  • 1 cup carrots, finely diced or shredded
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 1–2 tbsp vinegar (white or apple cider)
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional, for a slightly sweet taste)
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional add‑ins:
    • ¼ cup chopped onion or scallions
    • 1–2 tbsp sweet relish
    • 1 tbsp mustard
    • A pinch of paprika
