My Jasmine / White Rice

Method1
  • 2 Cups Jasmine/Basmati Rice
  • 3 Cups Cold Water
  • Wash rice once
  • Put in Rice Cooker
  • Turn on Rice Cooker
  • Allow rice to steam, unplug rice cooker when done
  • Stir/Fluff rice when done
How to cook in pot (10,5,5)
  • Add rice and water to pot
  • Let soak for 5 mins
  • Medium heat, cover off until boil (10 min)
  • Cover on Low heat to simmer until all water turns to steam (5 mins)
  • You'll stop hearing the water bubbling, and stop seeing steam coming out the sides, and the rice will smell done
  • Turn off heat, let steam closed for (5 mins)
  • If rice does not looks done, or is still wet, turn on low heat for 2 mins, then turn off and let steam
  • fluff
