My Soft Boiled Egg - For Soup or snack

  • Bring water to rolling boil
  • Add eggs using spoon, do not drop or eggs may break
  • Reduce heat to simmer to prevent eggs from bouncing around and breaking
  • cook for 6.5 minutes
  • Remove from heat, douse in cold water
  • Peel from fat end first, i slide a teaspoon between the egg and the shell to help remove the shell easily
  • Cut in half, sprinkle with salt, pepper, soy sauce or other seasoning of choice
