My Hard Boiled Eggs


  • Eggs, Pinch of Salt, Water to cover eggs
  • Bring water to boil, then cover
  • Boil for 6 mins, 30 seconds
  • Run under cold water
  • Peel
  • Add Salt, Soy Sauce and pepper to taste
  • Eat
  • My Microwave Potato



  • For a single Fist-Sized potato

    • Wash, scrub, poke on top and bottom with fork just to break the skin so it doesn't explode
    • Microwave for 6 minutes (longer if bigger or more potatoes 10 mins for 2, 15 mins for 4)
    • Remove potatoes, poke the center lengthways, then smush the ends together so it tears in the middle (using knives reduces the fluffiness)
    • Salt, Pepper, Butter, and whatever else u like

    My Soft Boiled Egg - For Soup or snack

    • Bring water to rolling boil
    • Add eggs using spoon, do not drop or eggs may break
    • Reduce heat to simmer to prevent eggs from bouncing around and breaking
    • cook for 6.5 minutes
    • Remove from heat, douse in cold water
    • Peel from fat end first, i slide a teaspoon between the egg and the shell to help remove the shell easily
    • Cut in half, sprinkle with salt, pepper, soy sauce or other seasoning of choice

    My Mashed Potatoes - For Kids


    • You need
      • Potato
      • Pot
      • Butter
      • Salt
      • Milk

    • Peel and cut one potato into rough cubes, similar size to allow even cooking
    • Fill pot with enough water to cover potatoes properlly
    • Add a pinch of salt to the water
    • Boil for 10-15 minutes, or until a knife can go through the pieces with no resistance
    • Drain water
    • Put back on stove on low heat for 1-2 minutes to dry out a bit
    • Turn off heat
    • Add a lump of butter, about the same size of a potato cube
    • Add two pinches of salt (to taste)
    • Add a pinch of black pepper
    • Add milk sparingly to get it to the consistency required (should be able to peak like frosting)
    • Fold, Mix and Mash as little as possible
      • The more you mash it, the more gummy it will get
